We are very excited here at Envirocare Grounds Maintenance. We have been negotiating for some time with the area’s top agricultural college – Myerscough. We can now announce that our very own bespoke apprenticeship is available for 16 to 24 year olds, who wish to join the world of agriculture and amenity horticulture.
The “Envirocare Intermediate Apprenticeship in Amenity Horticulture”, is specific to our own occupational and industry requirements. The course assesses existing skill levels, training needs and work related opportunities. This is tailored to the exact requirements of a fullyoperational Envirocare Grounds Maintenance Operative.
The successful apprentice will gain each of these different nationally recognised qualifications within our industry;
- Level 2 Diploma in work-based Horticulture
- Level 1 Communication skills
- Level 1 Application of number key skills
- First Aid Certificate
- 1 legislative course qualification e.g. PA1, Safe Use of Mowers
From here the sky is the limit at Envirocare Grounds Maintenance, as there is plenty of scope for promotion from here on in. Show off your ability, be keen to succeed and who knows, you could be a team supervisor or one of our depot manager’s sooner than you think!
