Angie Grime, who is the Health & Safety Co-Ordinator at the Head Office of Envirocare Grounds Mainteance, decided to arrange something a little different with her husband to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary. They definitely made sure it was one they would never forget!
Can you guess where they went and what they did?
Clue 1….It took a week to complete
Clue 2…..they got numb bums!
Clue 3….they travelled the equivalant of going from the Lake District to Lands End
They cycled 345 miles around Belgium in 6 days, taking in the wonderful scenery, they didn’t miss a thing and were truly in the hands of Mother Nature.
….they had a wonderful time!
Visiting Dunkirk, Roubaix, Brussels, Antwerp, Gent and Brugge – stopping off along the way to sample the local fair of course! Well, it would have been rude not to!
Being extra careful of course not to sample too many, after all they had to jump back on those bikes! Carrying on to the next village, which brought with it, the next adventure
What a wonderful way to celebrate – we aren’t sure how they will top this for their next big one though!
