A few members of our team were lucky enough to pop along to the BBC Gardeners World Live over the weekend at the Birmingham NEC. It was a terrific day out, it kept them busy all day and they left happy, exhausted and inspired with things to try in their own gardens. They still think they didn’t get to see everything at the show but there is always next year.
The addition of the gorilla at the top completes the effect
There was a selection of incredible creative show gardens, each totally different from the next. Every designer should be complimented on their imagination. The floral marquee proved too tempting with an array of plants on offer and all have new additions for their gardens, one team member may have to shrink their patio slightly to accommodate the plants they purchased. The Gardeners World Team from TV and magazine were present over the weekend and they went to one of the sessions in the Gardeners World Theatre with Carol Klein speaking, she shared her vast gardening knowledge and her own personal gardening triumphs at Glebe Cottage.
