Chorley Football Club reached the dizzy heights of the first proper round of the FA Trophy last Saturday, with a two-nil victory over Matlock Town.
The Envirocare Grounds Maintenance shirts must be working as a lucky charm – this is the furthest the Magpie’s have got in the competition since they reached the Semi-Finals in 1995/96 (taking competition restructures into account).
They went on to finish yesterday, with a very tricky – but also a very respectable – home tie in the first round of the FA Trophy, which is no mean feat, as the match was against the unbeaten – Evo-Stik Division One North Side – Curzon Ashton.
The tie will take place at Victory Park on the 30th November 2013.
We wish you all the very best of luck!
