On Sunday 9th July, four of the team from our Preston Depot will be taking part in the North West’s biggest and best bike ride – the Manchester to Blackpool, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.
Mick Mann, Dave Gallagher, Lee Murgatroyd and Dave Martin will be taking on this 60 mile challenge, alongside some 6000 or so other riders. The route starts at Old Trafford in Manchester, and snakes its way through the suburbs of North Manchester before breaking our into the Lancashire countryside. Passing close to our Head Office in Leyland, we’ll then take a left turn in Preston and brave the headwinds for the final 20 miles past the Pleasure Beach and on to the finish point near Blackpool Tower.
Last year we were really proud to be named as one of Macmillan’s Top 10 Corporate sponsors, so it’s great to be able to continue to support such a great cause. We’re really proud of our guys for taking on the challenge.
