Yesterday was hectic at Envirocare Head office as the first three franchisees arrived for day one of their three day training package. Steven, Andrew and Tom’s franchise journey was about to begin after completing their literal journeys from around the country.
The Envirocare team gave the three a warm welcome and by 9am training got underway with a presentation from Stuart Gornall, Health and Safety Consultant. After coffee and croissants the session resumed with an over view of Human Resources support from MHL’s Emma Quinn. Lunch over and training continued with contributions from Janine, Envirocare’s Accounts Manager and Administration Manager, Angela, before which Paul Woodburn presented PAYE and VAT.
Dave, Envirocare MD said “the day went well. It was a good opportunity to get to know the guys and for them to meet the team. There’s obviously a lot to take in over the course of just three days but the help and support starts here, everyone’s keen to get going.” Day two training involves pricing, marketing, equipment and IT support and tomorrow will be practical, on the job experience. “On the job training is when things really start to happen” added Dave “after two days in the conference and training rooms at head office, Wednesday will see us out on site and getting our hands dirty. This a really exciting time for us, interest in the franchises is growing everyday and future training days are already being planned.”
