Envirocares bike rack is well used – it keeps a number of our team fit and healthy as well as being environmentally friendly and we would like to encourage more members of staff to get on their bike to work. 
Understandably Envirocare staff will not be expected to tow lawn mowers and other equipment with them when travelling about through the course of the day, even though this would be an even better work out for the thighs and glutes but every journey made via a bike instead of a car reduces carbon emissions. It also saves money on petrol bills. One colleague told us “ I made use of a government grant to provide my bike as my primary mode of transport to and from work”. It is well worth a look to see if these are available to obtain a new bike for yourself for your transport to work – don’t forget the fluorescent top, helmet and bike repair kit.
