“Where there’s muck, there’s money” as my grandad used to say! Never has there been a truer word spoken when it comes to the wonderful charity work that one of the Envirocare Grounds Maintenance teams regularly do.
In the last six months alone, John Merton and David Williams have raised more than £700.00 for the Alzheimers Society and a cheque is in the post to them as we speak.
This isn’t all – if we go back further, they have raised over £1450.00 throughout the year for the charity and it is even better news when you find out how they did it – recycling!
Yes, by “making good use of the things that they find, things that the everyday folk leave behind” they have ensured that the money from recycling scrap metal and pallets – things left for rubbish – go to very good use – proving exactly whey we are called Envirocare.
Well done John and David!
